Territorial monthly supplement for low-income Yukon seniors who receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement, the Allowance or the Allowance for the Survivor. The supplement can increase monthly income by $323.26.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (YT)
Be at least 65 years old
Eligible employment status
Net family income under $54,624
How to apply
Apply for GIS, the Allowance or the Allowance for the Survivor through Service Canada.
File an income tax return each year to continue receiving GIS and the territorial supplement.
If the annual supplement exceeds $500, report the T5007 slip received from Yukon.
