Provincial program that helps low-income Alberta seniors pay for certain health supports, personal supports, appliances or furniture. The maximum annual assistance available during the benefit year is $5,872.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (AB)
Be at least 65 years old
Net family income under $53,800
How to apply
Be enrolled in Alberta Seniors Financial Assistance programs before buying the requested item.
Submit a receipt or estimate for each eligible item, with required medical notes where applicable.
Send the claim within 12 months of purchase; the benefit year runs July 1 to June 30.
