To create an account: your email and name. For the eligibility analysis: province, language, age, marital status, income, employment status, housing situation and the household members you add. No biometric or precise-location data is collected. Each data point serves a purpose named in our processing register.
We commit to hosting all data on servers located in Canada and not to transfer it outside Canada without your explicit consent. Compliant with Loi 25 (Quebec) and LPRPDE (federal).
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. These measures are a commitment to be honored at production deployment.
Your data is kept as long as your account exists. Deleting your account immediately and permanently erases your profiles, households, searches and results (cascading deletion). We store no anonymous searches: every search is tied to an account.
Under Law 25, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection to processing. From your account, you can export all your data (JSON) and delete your account yourself. For any other request: privacy@cbfinder.ca
