Support for seniors · SK
Saskatchewan plan that caps the cost of eligible prescription drugs at $25 for people 65 and older. You must live in Saskatchewan, hold a valid health card and qualify for the provincial age credit: net income on line 23600 must be $81,633 or less on the 2025 return for 2027 coverage. People covered by a federal program — Non-Insured Health Benefits, Veterans Affairs — are excluded.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (SK)
Be at least 65 years old
Net family income under $81,633
How to apply
Check automatic eligibility: coverage renews year to year from the income tax return (Form A).
Apply with income documents if Form B applies to you — that one must be redone each year.
Show your Saskatchewan health card at the pharmacy; the $25 co-payment applies to Formulary drugs and to drugs approved under Exception Drug Status.
