Annual funding to help low-income Prince Edward Island seniors pay for practical services such as light housekeeping, meal preparation or snow removal. Support can reach $1,800 depending on income.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (PE)
Be at least 65 years old
Net family income under $41,970
How to apply
Apply to the Seniors Independence Initiative program.
Provide household net income and asset information; combined assets must be no more than $100,000 excluding the primary residence, land and vehicles.
Use the support for eligible practical services that help you remain at home.
