Monthly payment of $300 to low-income Nunavummiut aged 60 or older who receive the federal Guaranteed Income Supplement or the Spouse's Allowance. Nunavut has an agreement with the federal government that automatically adds the benefit to the monthly Old Age Security cheque.

Reside in an eligible province (NU)
Be at least 60 years old

Receive the Guaranteed Income Supplement or the Spouse's Allowance: that federal eligibility is what opens this benefit.
Live in Nunavut and be 60 or older.
No separate application: the payment is automatically added to the monthly Old Age Security cheque.
