Family support · SK
Fee reduction for regulated child care in Saskatchewan, funded by the Canada-Saskatchewan Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. Families pay $217.50 a month for a child enrolled ten days or more per month, and $10 a day below that. Every child under six in regulated care qualifies, as do children who turn six during kindergarten: eligibility then runs to the end of the school year in June, or until they turn seven, whichever comes first. It is not income-tested: the fee is the same for every family.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (SK)
Have one or more eligible dependent children
How to apply
Find a spot in REGULATED child care: the reduction applies only to those services.
Check the child's age: under six, or turning six during kindergarten.
Claim nothing: the reduction is applied directly to the fee charged by the child care service.
