Monthly Québec Pension Plan benefit for contributing workers who are deemed to have a severe and permanent disability and are not receiving a CPP pension. In 2026, the disability pension can reach $1,737.67/month for people under 60; between ages 60 and 65, the fixed disability amount is $610.43/month in addition to the calculated retirement pension.

Be aged 18 to 64
Have a recognized severe and prolonged impairment
How to apply
Apply for QPP disability benefits through Retraite Québec.
Provide the required medical information so Retraite Québec medical advisors can assess the severe and permanent disability.
Confirm you contributed enough to the QPP and are not receiving a CPP pension.
