Eligible family status (widowed)
How to apply
File the application with Retraite Québec together with proof of payment of the funeral expenses.
The benefit goes to whoever applies first: the person who paid the expenses, an heir, or the liquidator of the estate.
Accepted expenses incurred after the death may also be reimbursed, up to the $2,500 maximum.
