Annual amount of $127 per child paid in July by Retraite Québec to Family Allowance recipients, for a child aged 4 to 16 on September 30 of the school year (17 if the Supplement for Handicapped Children is also paid). It is granted regardless of family income and is not taxable; in shared custody each parent receives $63.50.

Have one or more eligible dependent children
How to apply
No application needed: the supplement is added automatically to the July Family Allowance payment.
Make sure you are registered for the Family Allowance with Retraite Québec.
Eligibility depends on the child's age on September 30, not on school attendance.
