Tax-free monthly benefit to help low- to medium-income Prince Edward Island families raise children. For July 2026 to June 2027, it pays $34.16/month per child if adjusted family net income is under $45,000, or $24.16/month up to $80,000.
Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (PE)
Have one or more eligible dependent children
Net family income under $80,000
How to apply
Apply for the Canada Child Benefit for the child; the provincial benefit is paid with the CCB.
File an income tax return every year so the CRA can calculate the payment.
