Monthly benefit of $150 for low-income pregnant people and families with children under five, plus a one-time $150 payment in the month of birth. Formerly the Mother Baby Nutrition Supplement (MBNS). The benefit continues until the month before the child turns five.

Reside in an eligible province (NL)
Have one or more eligible dependent children
Net family income under $38,193

No separate application if you receive the Newfoundland and Labrador Child Benefit or Income Support: the supplement follows.
If you are pregnant, complete the online application or contact the coordinator at 1-800-508-4788.
Be a permanent resident of Newfoundland and Labrador.
