Manitoba Health program that provides limited financial assistance toward prescription eyeglasses for Manitoba residents aged 65 or older. Reimbursement is based on a fixed fee schedule, less a $50 annual family deductible, then 80% of the allowable balance.

Reside in an eligible province (MB)
Be at least 65 years old
How to apply
Get the claim form from a participating optometrist or optician.
Claim one pair of eyeglasses every three years, or sooner if a doctor or optometrist diagnoses a change in vision.
Submit the claim to the provincial program first before any supplementary private insurance.
