Federal grant for someone enrolled part-time in a qualified program at a designated school and in financial need. Until the end of the 2026 to 2027 school year it reaches $2,520 a year, never more than assessed need. Previous year's gross family income must stay under the cut-off for the household size: $69,987 for one person, $98,017 for two, up to $161,321 at seven or more; the maximum grant goes to incomes below $38,474 for one person. Assessment is automatic when you apply for provincial student aid.
