Eligibility conditions
Reside in an eligible province (AB)
Be at least 65 years old
Net family income under $65,380
How to apply
First apply for Alberta Seniors Financial Assistance programs to establish eligibility.
Present your Alberta health card to the dental or optical provider and request pre-authorization when needed.
Submit claims within 12 months of the expense if the provider does not bill Alberta Blue Cross directly.
