Alberta's assistance of last resort for adults 18 or older who cannot pay for their basic needs. Assets are capped: $5,000 of RRSPs per adult, $10,000 of vehicle equity, and liquid assets cannot exceed three times the core benefit. The official page publishes NO benefit amount.

Reside in an eligible province (AB)
Be at least 18 years old
Net family income under $27,840
How to apply
Apply for Income Support online or at an Alberta services centre.
Be 18 or older, live in Alberta and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, refugee or refugee claimant.
Report your assets: RRSPs, vehicle equity and liquid assets are all capped.
