Reside in an eligible province (MB)
Be at least 18 years old
Net family income under $60,768
Eligible housing tenure (renter)
How to apply
Apply for Rent Assist through Provincial Services if you do not receive Employment and Income Assistance.
File an income tax return and claim rent every year; the benefit is reassessed annually.
Do not receive another housing subsidy for the same unit.
